Most days ...Yep, four years the end of this month.

Most days I still feel like I'm making it up as I go along, and while my time is no longer counted by diaper changes and utter slavery to routine to maintain security, some days I still wonder what I got myself into.

These days, they can dress themselves. Usually. (Sometimes I still have to point out that a shirt is on backwards, but hey, I do that once in awhile, too.) They're all potty-trained. They eat well enough that I don't panic any longer if their appetites are off for a meal or two. They're growing.

Their counselor says they are all well-adjusted little girls, and that Hubby and I have done a fantastic job.

I took over the registration paperwork for the twins, for kindergarten in the fall.

I can hardly believe they'll start school this fall. Seems like just yesterday they had little knobby knees and were slightly bowlegged and toddling around the house in that cute toddler gait.

Then there are days when I think, "ONLY four years? It HAS to have been longer than that!"

I'm a mom.

I love it!

The kids told Hubby I needed sidewalk chalk for Mother's Day this year.Auntie Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05291024186455331856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4120979690807965971.post-52176524508854819152012-05-05T08:29:13.276-04:002012-05-05T08:29:13.276-04:00Boy, that's a looooooong twelve weeks!Boy, that's a looooooong twelve weeks!A Reed not brokenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10893796834054453139noreply@blogger.com
