Around the Neighborhood

Specifically, the view down my driveway this morning:

Why, yes.  That IS a man standing waist-deep in our street, right at the end of my driveway.

    Um, so they didn't tell you about this ahead of time? How were you supposed to get out of your driveway?

    Directly? No. But we knew it was coming since the day they sliced into the road for where they would need to dig it up. Fortunately, they didn't start before 8:30, when Hubby took Large Fry out to get on the bus for school. So he was able to move the van. It was like this for three days running this week.
